Personnel records: credentials, competency and training history
Keep each person’s licenses, certifications, site designations, analyte authorizations and training history together in one record.
Open "Training & competency", then "Personnel records", to see everyone in your organization with their credentials, authorizations, training history and site designations. Search by name or email and open a record.
What a record holds
Each record has these sections:
- "Credentials & qualifications" holds professional licenses, certifications, degrees and transcripts, and work history (CV), with issuer, number, expiry and the file itself. Each has its own audit trail.
- "Site designations" lists CLIA roles held at a site, such as laboratory director or technical supervisor.
- "Sites & positions" shows where the person works, their position and FTE. These come from site staffing and are read-only here.
- "Authorization" lists the analytes the person is authorized to run, with status and expiry (see Analyte competency authorizations).
- "Training history" lists every module assigned, with revision, status, why it was assigned, completion and due dates.
Evidence for inspectors
Click a completed training row to open its "Training assignment evidence" PDF. Click "Download training evidence" to gather it for a person, or "Download record report" to produce the record itself. Training that does not apply can be waived with a reason, and waived or archived items can be restored.
Your own record
Everyone can see their own training under "My modules" and their credentials under "My licenses & certifications". Team progress warns about credentials expiring within 90 days.
