Our platform is designed for laboratory assay verification and validation workflows. We do not require or intend to process Protected Health Information (PHI) or any patient-identifiable data.
Important: Users must not upload or submit PHI or patient-identifiable information to Legion Diagnostics. All data entered into the platform must be properly de-identified and limited to experimental or instrument performance data.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
a. Account & Contact Information
- Name, email address, phone number, organization, job title
- Login credentials
b. Platform Usage Information
- Device/browser details, IP address, operating system, and log data
- Pages visited, features accessed, error logs, and interactions with the platform
c. Laboratory & Experimental Data
- Data related to instrument performance, assay verification, validation studies, and other experimental datasets
- This data must not include PHI or patient-identifiable details
d. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
- We may use cookies and similar tools for authentication, analytics, and service improvements
e. CLIA Citation Benchmark Report
- The report on our website is built from public CMS survey data (Form CMS-2567). Viewing it needs no account; we count views (report size and the campaign link used) without storing your IP address or any identifier.
- If you ask for the PDF, we keep your email address, any name and organization you give, the labs you selected, your marketing choice, and a one-way hash of your IP address used only to prevent abuse. We email you the report as a PDF attachment, and our team is told about the request.
- The marketing box on the request form is ticked for you. Untick it and we email you only the report; leave it ticked and we may email you about lab compliance and our products, and every such email lets you unsubscribe.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve our services
- Authenticate and secure accounts
- Respond to user inquiries and support requests
- Analyze usage trends and optimize performance
- Fulfill contractual and legal obligations
We do not sell or rent personal information.

Because Legion Diagnostics is not intended to receive PHI, any inadvertent submission of patient-identifiable data is the sole responsibility of the submitting party.

We retain account and usage information as long as necessary to provide services and meet legal obligations. Laboratory data retention is governed by customer agreements.
7. Your Responsibilities
Users of our platform are responsible for ensuring that:
- Data uploaded does not contain PHI or identifiable patient information
- All laboratory and assay datasets are properly de-identified before submission
- Use of the platform complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws
8. Your Rights

9. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for professional and institutional use. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
