Equipment maintenance plans and reagent lot tracking

Schedule recurring maintenance with signed completion, and track which reagent lot is in service on each analyzer and when it changed.

Maintenance and reagent lots are two of the recurring kinds of work in quality cycles.

Maintenance plans

Add a maintenance plan with a title, how often it repeats, the first due date and who is responsible. A plan can require a completion note and a signature.

When the task is due, click "Mark Complete". The button becomes available when the completion window opens. Then sign and complete it, adding a note if the plan asks for one. The next due date follows from the schedule, and the "History log" tab keeps every completion as a downloadable PDF.

Reagent lots

For each analyte, the side panel shows the reagent lot in service. Click "Put lot in service" to record the lot number, when it went into service, its expiration date and a note. Click "Change lot" to close the current lot and, if you like, open the replacement in the same step.

For quantitative analytes, changing lots can start a reagent lot comparison study to check the new lot against the old one. The "History log" tab records every lot with its dates and downloads as a PDF.
