Calibration verification cycles linked to their studies

Schedule calibration verification for each analyte, link each cycle to its linearity study, and complete it when the study is signed.

Calibration verification confirms that an analyte's calibration holds across its reportable range. In quality cycles, each enrolled analyte has a calibration verification schedule, usually every six months, or a one-time cycle.

Running a cycle

When a cycle is due, click "Start CalVer cycle" or "Link study". Link an existing calibration verification and linearity study for the same lab area, analyzer and analyte, or let Legion Diagnostics create one. Click "Open experiment" to go to the study, enter data and run the analysis.

Completing it

A cycle completes when its study is signed. The study's calibration verification module must be signed and the experiment finalized and signed. To do both at once, check "Also finalize this experiment" when you sign. There is no separate button to mark the cycle complete, so the record always points at signed evidence. With auto-reschedule on, the next cycle is then scheduled.

Open the "History log" tab to see past cycles and download them as a PDF.
