Adding your own documents to the knowledge base
Upload PDFs, text and CSV files your organization relies on, so the AI assistant can answer from them and say which document it used.
The knowledge base holds documents your organization wants the assistant to draw on, such as package inserts, manufacturer bulletins, internal references and reference tables. To find it, open "Organization settings", then "Knowledge base".
Adding documents
Drop in PDF, text or CSV files, up to 25 MB each. Each one is processed so the assistant can search it, and a message tells you when it is ready. You can rename, download and delete documents, one at a time or several at once.
The assistant can also add a file you already have, such as a chat attachment, a package insert on an analyte, or a module data file, and link you to it.
Documents in the knowledge base are shared with your whole organization. By default, only the Primary Site Administrator can add, rename or delete them. Others can read them through the assistant.
How answers use them
When the assistant quotes a value from one of your documents, it names the document it came from. If the documents do not contain what you asked about, it says so rather than guessing.
