Inviting your team, roles and seats
Invite colleagues into the right site groups and subspecialties, choose their role, and manage seats, inactive members and password resets.
The "Team" page in "Organization settings" lists everyone in your organization with their role, status, site groups and subspecialties. Search by name or email.
Roles
From the most access to the least, the roles are Primary Site Administrator, Site Manager, CLIA License Holder, Lab Director, Supervisor, Technologist, User and Trainee. Inspector sits outside this ladder and is meant for read-only review. What each role can do is set in access control.
The Primary Site Administrator administers the organization and is the last-resort approver for every workflow. They are a member of every site group and subspecialty.
Inviting someone
In "Invite Team Member", enter the person's email, their role, and the site groups and subspecialties they will work in, then click "Send Invitation". Invitations expire after 48 hours. Open the "Invitations" tab to see each one's status and to resend or revoke it.
You can only invite someone to a role below your own, and, unless you are the Primary Site Administrator, only into site groups and subspecialties you belong to. By default Primary Site Administrators and Site Managers can send invitations.
Seats
The "Seat Usage" card shows how many seats are used. A pending invitation holds a seat, and an inactive member does not. When every seat is taken, contact Legion Diagnostics to add more.
Managing a member
The Primary Site Administrator can open any member to:
- change their role
- see whether they use two-factor authentication, send a password reset, or require a new password by a date
- inactivate them, which blocks sign-in and frees their seat while keeping their records, or reactivate them later
- remove them from the organization, after which they need a new invitation to return
Nobody can inactivate or remove themselves, and the last Primary Site Administrator cannot be demoted or removed.
