Running the Comparison
Each lot change is entered at the top of the Study Design section of the Data Entry window.
- Lot names — Enter the current lot name and the new lot name. When the design is carried forward, the current lot is filled from the previous comparison's new lot.
- Operator and calibrator lot (optional) — Record who ran the comparison and the calibrator lot used. Both are filled from the plan when it has them. There is no separate reagent field: the two lot names are the reagent record.
- Calibration and QC — Calibrate each lot shortly before its samples are measured, ideally with the same calibrator lot, and confirm QC is acceptable on the new lot before testing patient samples. Data Entry asks you to confirm this with one checkbox: “Both lots were calibrated and QC was acceptable before testing”.
- Samples — Pick patient samples close to each level's target concentration and measure each one on both lots, close together in time.
Entering or Uploading Results
Type results into the Experiment Data grid, or drop a CSV, Excel, PDF, PNG or JPEG file on the page. A file laid out as the Data Upload Guide shows is read fastest; other layouts, PDFs and images are read by the AI assistant, which opens the results in Data Entry for review. Nothing is saved until you click Save.
