Interpreting Your Results
The analysis runs automatically after Save. Step 2 opens with an Analysis Summary holding Results by Level and Differences by Sample, followed by a difference plot for each level (with a Zoom on the current-lot axis). Results by Level shows:
| Column | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Mean (current) / Mean (new) | The average result on each lot at the level. |
| Mean difference | The mean of new minus current for the level's samples. |
| Rejection limit | The limit the mean difference must stay inside. |
| Result | Accepted when the mean difference is inside the rejection limit. |
The new lot is accepted only when every level passes. The plots and the Differences by Sample table make it easy to spot a single sample that drives a failure.
A rejected lot is not necessarily defective. Check calibration and QC on both lots, recalibrate if needed and repeat the comparison before contacting the manufacturer.
